Pre POWER ONE is a Canberra based offshoot of the Pingala Co-op for communities to fund solar in their neighbourhoods.
Pre POWER ONE uses an information system invented in Canberra by White Label Personal Clouds (WLPC). We work with SEE-Change Canberra , the New Economy Network Australia, the Co-operative Group at the Newcastle University Law School, CoCanberra and The Incubator Co-op. Through Pingala, Pre POWER ONE has close links to 350.org and Getup .
Pre POWER ONE produces clean energy for a low cost using high return, secure, community funding. Instead of the surplus from the supply of money and electricity going out of a community, they remain inside Pre POWER ONE to the benefit of all members.
